My advice for future high school students is to stay true to themselves. Many people in high school want to be someone that they aren’t and they become stress when they are not able to become that person. Also, do not show feelings to anyone, high school is just the start of your adulthood and there is so much more to do after high school. get involved with school, there are so many sports and activities to do that will help you meet new people and stay out of trouble. Take your education seriously, your grades will overall effect your future. What you do now, will show in time. School is not for everybody, so if you and your parents have had a talk about whether school is for you and you do not want to do it anymore, look into getting your GED, a high school diploma is not the only way to show you got your education. Try to be on the good side of your teachers, i happened to be on a bad side with my gym teacher and there is no way that i can get my grade up because he controls it. Make friends with people, they will help the days go by fast.

My social issue that I chose was cell phone use in the classroom. Cell phones have evolved over time and have incorporated in to the daily lives of society. Students are the largest user of mobile technology and it has found it’s way into the classroom. Teachers, administrators, counselors and principles, all have different opinions on the issue. Some believe that cell phones have no place in the classroom because they are a distraction and can be used for wrong. I believe that cellphone should be used in class for educational reason. Using mobile technology could be a great help to students. Allowing cell phones in class would allow the students to take quick and easy notes, allow them to contact the teacher if they are away or home sick. Cellphones in class would also provide the ability to report any inappropriate behavior. Some of the cons of having cell phones in class would be that some student wouldn’t use them for education.

I did not take as much interest in the Superbowl this year over other super bowls mainly because i didn’t like any  of the teams that played this year but what i did take interest in was the Superbowl commercials. This year wasn’t as crazy as last year’s commercials but companies did not fail to entertain the audience. These are the 3 commercials I chose from this year’s Superbowl that I thought were the best. In the first commercial, it was an entertaining commercial because it had a full out war going on, and it all of sudden just stopped when the “Bud Knight” came in and the common people were excited when they thought that he was going to fight for them but he went passed them and got a pack of Bud Lite. He came back and told the people he had plans and they looked disappointed but them he used his magic sword and scared off the enemy and it went to the Bud Light screen. The target audience for the ad is defiantly towards adults who drink beer. The second commercial is 2 people eating different products and lip syncing while the background is changing. It was a entertaining ad that was directed towards everyone who eats chips and drink MTN DEW. The last commercial that i chose was the visit Australia commercial. The commercial was entertaining and informing. It had Chris Hemsworth thinking he was auditioning for a adventure movie but it turned out to be a video all about Australia and the things you  can do there.

Today in class, i made a PlayStation 4 out of play doh because that is somethings that represents me. I grew up playing the PlayStation series consoles. All my life, i have stayed loyal to the PlayStation company, Sony. on days that i am not feeling myself, I hop online and get into a game and play for hours. Playing video games takes me away live’s problems and puts me into a false reality of acceptance and i feel like i can be whomever I want to be. Things that I like to do on my PlayStation are, playing games such as OverWatch, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Skyrim and Fallout. I play most of these games with my friends because my friends are always there for me and help me out when I am going through tough times, also playing withe friends allows for a more memorable time because playing with a friend brings laughter and teamwork. The people around me made their play doh into things like hearts, butterflies, a hammer and a house. I thought all of these were creative because the all had their individual back stories and  reasoning behind making their choice. One of the student around me told me their story of why they chose their item which was a hammer. The student told me that ever since they were a child, they’ve always had a passion for hammers ever since they watch a Thor movie from Marvel. This interested be because I could never take interest in something such a prolonged period of time.

In the website, there are many different sides and qualifications to the subject of the legalization of same sex marriage. In the United States 67% of people of all races, ethnics, wages, political parties and states agree that same sex marriage should be legalized but 6% of Americans have qualifications to it. 3% say to take the government out of same sex marriage and instead make it a religious decision to become married. The other 3% of people say yes, same sex marriage should be legalized but allow churches the right to refuse same sex ceremonies. Democrats in the United States agree that same sex marriage should believe that same sex marriage should not be legalized. The majority of republicans, coming in at 94% all believe that same sex marriage should be legalized, while the other 6% all say that they should have civil unions but do not call it marriage. 69% of people that are in poverty say that same sex marriage should be legalized while people that make over 200k also agree that same sex marriage should be legalized.  68% of African Americans all agree that same sex marriage should be legalized. 71% of people in Illinois agree that same sex marriage should be legalized but churches should have the ability to deny services to them.

 I chose this design because it reminds me  of a pirate ship. Back when i was a kid, all the games I used to play had something to do with pirates and all the words inside of it are my personality traits and words that make up who I am.

This year hasn’t been the best for me, but there has been a lot of things that has happened to me that I am greatful for. One thing that I am greatful for is my family, when things aren’t going my way, my family is there for me and gives me advice and they are always looking out for me. Another thing that I am thankful for is my friends. When I am bored or upset about something, my friends are not hesitatant to come over with food or funny jokes to entertain me and keep me energized. One thing that I am thankful for that may surprise people is the school that I go to. School allows me to further my education and also allows me to see my friends on a daily basis. School also allows me to learn things that will help me with the career I want to pursue.
