The Legalization of Same Sex Marriage

In the website, there are many different sides and qualifications to the subject of the legalization of same sex marriage. In the United States 67% of people of all races, ethnics, wages, political parties and states agree that same sex marriage should be legalized but 6% of Americans have qualifications to it. 3% say to take the government out of same sex marriage and instead make it a religious decision to become married. The other 3% of people say yes, same sex marriage should be legalized but allow churches the right to refuse same sex ceremonies. Democrats in the United States agree that same sex marriage should believe that same sex marriage should not be legalized. The majority of republicans, coming in at 94% all believe that same sex marriage should be legalized, while the other 6% all say that they should have civil unions but do not call it marriage. 69% of people that are in poverty say that same sex marriage should be legalized while people that make over 200k also agree that same sex marriage should be legalized.  68% of African Americans all agree that same sex marriage should be legalized. 71% of people in Illinois agree that same sex marriage should be legalized but churches should have the ability to deny services to them.
